What Does Your Blood Have to Do With Age?

Greater vitality and longer life span is the result of healthy blood.  Rich, healthy blood carries nutrients to every cell of the body; otherwise we merely survive with poor health and low energy.

According to Dr. Bernard Jensen from “Chlorophyll Magic from Living Plant Life”, no blood builder is superior to wheatgrass.  The blood building results occurred quickly when the patients drank wheatgrass regularly.   Blood rich in iron brings more oxygen to the cells, promoting youthfulness and preventing senility.

In “Cells Grow Younger”, Dr. Brown Landone discussed the power of root auxins-substances found in the roots of all young, growing plants.  He cited research experiments conducted by botanists who placed root auxins on the tip of a leaf, causing roots to grow on the edge of the leaf.  Dr Landone reasoned that we could get a sort of youth auxin from eating baby greens, sprouts, and grasses.  Others have proven his assumptions correct.    Dr. Weston Price, founder of the Price-Pottenger Nutrition Foundation, isolated a substance from the tips of young grasses which had a similar effect to that of root auxins, showing an ability to promote regeneration in damaged cells.

Wheatgrass may be used as a tonic and rejuvenator because of its abundance of natural vitamins, minerals, trace elements, and enzymes.  It is a high-quality source of fuel, and is easily assimilated, requiring little energy to digest.

It is important to note that wheatgrass with the roots contains auxins and is superior to just wheatgrass leaves alone.

How to Strengthen your Immune System?

Experts have determined that colds and flu are usually a result of immune system breakdown.  Our immune system is a complex, interacting web of chemical and cellular components that serve to protect us against potential invaders such as bacteria, viruses and cancer cells.

Specific factors that affect the immune system are nutritional deficiencies, infections, trauma, toxins, radiation exposure, emotional state and stress.

Lack of sleep may actually make us more prone to catching colds and the flu. If you don’t sleep well experimental studies have shown you tend get sick more often. In simple terms, sleep deprivation suppresses immune system function, according to Diwakar Balachandran, MD, director of the Sleep Center at the University of Texas.

Constant stress makes us vulnerable to illness and disease.  An effective way to manage stress is to exercise which not only strengthens your muscles, but it also creates a healthy immune system.  Along with physical exercise, deep breathing exercises are very helpful.

Research shows clearly that the type of bacteria residing in our GI tract affects us.  The digestive system is important for overall health and well-being.

A healthy diet should be part of any wellness program.  Any nutrient deficiency suppresses immune function, as does an excess consumption of sugar and refined foods. Although a healthy diet is the foundation, supplements can be of benefit as well.

Wheatgrass is a natural supplement that will build up your immune system by supplementing your diet and provide health to all areas of your system.  Wheatgrass  with the roots contains 13 vitamins, 10 minerals, 17 amino-acids, chlorophyll, fiber, and over 100 types of enzymes.  Wheatgrass is a complete food!

Why is it important to alkalize your body?

wheatgrass 100

Alkalinity, referred to as pH, is the concentration of hydrogen ions in water, blood, etc…  A pH of 7.0 on the scale is considered neutral, but a 7.4 pH is desirable for the human body.

You get alkaline by eating raw foods, fruits and vegetables.  The acidic foods on the other hand are sugar, white flour, red meats, and processed foods.  Stress can also cause your body to be acidic.  A normal American diet is 80% acid and 20% alkaline; this is the opposite of a good diet.  If you reverse those numbers you will be giving your body what it desires.

Your blood pH must operate in a narrow range for good health.  The complex biochemical processes taking place constantly is an attempt to keep blood pH as near perfect as possible. If your body is not getting an adequate mineral intake from the foods you eat, you will have problems balancing your pH system.  When the body is overly acidic it will leach calcium from the bones or teeth leading to osteoporosis and other health problems.

An easy way to get enough minerals to keep your body alkaline is by taking the only wheatgrass powder with the roots.  Wheatgrass will assimilate into your blood stream in about 20 minutes.  This is like getting a blood transfusion with every drink of wheatgrass.

All wheatgrass powders are not the same, be sure and get the only one that includes the roots.
